- Closed every Thursday 1-3pm for maintenance, during weather events, and for seasonal maintenance. The City lists two different fall 2026 closures: Oct 6-Nov 3 in the park entry and Oct 12-Nov 10 in the closure notice. Alternatives during closures: Olympus Park dog park, plus off-leash hours at Encinitas Viewpoint, Orpheus and Sun Vista parks and Mountain Vista Trail.
